The Okidata C801 and C802 color laser printers have the same OEM-rated duty cycle of 75,000 pages per month, but their print speeds vary greatly. The C801 is OEM-rated at 12 pages per minute (ppm) for color and 17 ppm for black-and-white printing, where the C821 is OEM-rated at 22 ppm for color and 32 ppm for black-and-white printing.
The supplies set is made up of four toner cartridges and four drum units. Replacement cartridges are available with an OEM-stated yield of 7,300 pages for color (C, M and Y) and 7,000 pages for black. All toner cartridges require chips, while the drum units require fuses for the printer to function correctly.
